Our Veterinarians
Dr. Damman
Dr. Damman joined the practice in 2009. He earned his veterinary degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Veterinary Medicine. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys fishing and watching Paige his daughter run and raising Dorper Sheep.
At home, Dr. Damman enjoys spending time with his wife and kids along with pets, including Beau, Junior, Autumn, Tanner, Missy, and Kipchogie. He also has a flock of 20 sheep.

Dr. Megan
Dr. Megan joined Brookside in August and is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to her patients and their families. She earned her veterinary degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Veterinary Medicine.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Megan enjoys reading, baking, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. She is also a proud Wisconsin Badgers fan!
Dr. Megan shares her home with her German Shepherd, Jake, and her German Shorthaired Pointer, Porter. She also enjoys spending time with her two children.

Our Staff
Jen
Office Manager
Jen joined the Brookside team in September 2014. She enjoys reading, boating, and spending time with her husband and their dogs.
At home, Jen has two beloved dogs: Maggs, a 2-year-old Pit Mix, and Jase, a 12-year-old Doodle. She enjoys making memories with her family and four-legged companions both at home and on the water.
Jennifer M.
Receptionist
Jennifer has been part of the Brookside team since 2014. She enjoys the simple pleasures in life, especially baking and getting lost in a good book.
While she doesn’t currently have any pets of her own, Jennifer has plenty of love for her grand-fur babies and enjoys being a proud pet parent from the sidelines!
Katie E.
Veterinary Technician/ Lead Tech
Katie E. joined the Brookside team in October 2017. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology from Broadview University in 2017.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys reading and staying active. She loves sports, especially volleyball and bowling, as well as golfing. At home, she has two cats, Frank and Arya, who are an important part of her family.
Adelle
Veterinary Assistant
Adelle joined the Brookside team in October 2018. She earned her Associate of Science from Rock Valley College and is currently continuing her education as a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) student.
Outside of work, Adelle enjoys reading, hiking, kayaking, and getting creative with arts and crafts. She shares her home with her two Australian Shepherds, Auggie and Harper, her cat, Nala, and her leopard gecko, Spice.
Kristen
Receptionist/ Vet Tech Assistant
Kristen joined the Brookside team in December 2024. She enjoys golfing, reading, binge-watching her favorite shows, and taking walks in her free time.
Kristen attended Kansas Wesleyan University and Western Illinois University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her beloved pets, including her kitties, P. Diddy and Casey, and Gumbus.
Nikki W.
Nova Certified Veterinary Technician
Nikki joined the Brookside team in September 2025. She earned her Associate of Applied Animal Science from Rockford Career College.
Outside of work, Nikki enjoys boarding, dancing, and gardening. At home, she stays busy with her two children and her beloved pets, including her four cats—Artemis, Asteria, Mokera, and Nova—along with her dog and her gecko, Oracle.
Christian
Veterinary Assistant
Christian joined the Brookside team in December 2025. He studied at Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Animal Behavior College, where he developed his passion for working with animals.
Outside of work, Christian enjoys playing guitar, longboarding, disc golf, and exploring all things PC-related. At home, he has two dogs and two cats who keep life fun and busy.
Kat
Veterinary Assistant
Kat joined the Brookside team in May 2025. Outside of work, she enjoys baking, reading, and getting creative with arts and crafts.
Kat is also a proud cat mom to four cats, including Digit, a polydactyl cat (her baby), as well as Otter, Cassie, and Oscar (the littles). Her feline family keeps her home full of personality, paws, and plenty of love!
Katie B.
Receptionist
Katie joined the Brookside team in December 2023. Outside of work, she is a busy hockey mom to three teenagers—Daminix (19), Lia (17), and Zack (15). Much of her free time is spent cheering them on and enjoying time together as a family.
Katie attended Rock Valley College and Northern Illinois University. She and her husband, Tony, have been high school sweethearts, and they enjoy life together with their two dogs, Ivy and Banks.

Emily
Kennel Assistant
Emily joined the Brookside team in March 2026. She enjoys listening to music, attending concerts, cheering on the Badgers, and expressing her creativity through drawing and painting. After graduating high school, Emily hopes to continue her education by studying animal science.
At home, Emily has a beloved cat named Vicky, along with several other furry friends. She loves spending time with pets and looks forward to building a career working with animals.
